Skyfire is always a big deal and we try to make it down to the lake every year. This year was cool because Saxon had been crossing the days off the calendar in anticipation for months!

Today was a lesson in vintage guitars. Saxon already has a lot of knowledge about guitars in general but today he learned that the year in which a guitar is made is important. We found a 1930′s acoustic Gibson and we found a Gold Top Les Paul valued at $300,000. Yes that is the correct amount of zero’s!
Griff made himself comfortable and played his Ds happily while he waited for Dad and Saxon to finish looking around
Matty had a gig at the ANU Uni Bar with Ben on drums and Mossy on bass. It’s always fun to go and watch Matty rock out. He looked like he was having a blast. There was lot’s of guitar solos as usual, but I must say he totally rocked the slide solo in Tush!
