It’s been that kind of week. The one thing I do know is that I have two awesome boys who are loving, compassionate, tolerant people who don’t judge anyone based on race, age or disabilty. They love their Mum, like Griffin says I am his “favourite best friend” and he means it too. The boys are the best thing that ever happened to Matt and I and I will stand by that no matter who disagrees.
Happy Friday fun day!

Saxon totally loved his little Steve Vai birthday party, presents were included in the festivities!
Such a funny kid…. and no, he is not spoiled, he is loved!

Such a difficult week for Saxon, so many conniptions and melt downs, the only thing motivating him this week was Steve Vai’s impending birthday. It was marked on the calendar and Saxon insisted on a cake, he wanted a triple neck Jem guitar cake, and he wanted a present, a triple neck guitar. Well he wasn’t getting one of those was he! So I found a game for his DS, a lucky boy indeed, I mean how has it worked out that he gets a cake and a present for some elses birthday? Honestly.
Saxon helped make the cake, we had to watch the G3 DVD to make sure it looked right and while we were watching it Saxon said “Wow he was a good champion!”
We used Tim Tams for the guitar necks and Saxon put all the pick ups and switches on the cake. I came up with the brilliant idea of spearmint leaves on the necks and Sax was impressed with the end result. I think this is the third cake we’ve made for Steve Vai’s birthday, the first year Saxon has needed a present though.
Rough week, but a happy friday fun day!
